DT Pearson discusses his plan

Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central defensive tackle Tyrone Pearson doesn't appear to be ready to narrow things down but he's starting to put together a timetable for how he would like the rest of the recruiting process to play out.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound lineman, who is being recruited as an end by some schools and a tackle by others, should have a busy schedule this summer.

Pearson said he will be probably be camping at Florida, Alabama, Oregon, Arkansas, Kentucky and some other schools this summer. All of those schools except Florida have already verbally offered him.

So far Pearson has visited Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana and Illinois, so those are the schools he knows the most about, though he doesn't have any favorites.

"I'm probably going to narrow it down to a top ten right before the football season starts," Pearson explained on Sunday.

"There are a couple of schools that will be in there but I'm not ready to put that out there yet.

"I'm going to take my official visits after the season. I want to wait until after the visits so I'll be able to talk to all the coaches and find out what they have to say."

Pearson said he will be looking at how coaches interact with players and the kind of relationship the players at each respective school have with their fellow students.

Pearson is a three-star prospect according to Rivals.com.
