Fant named Mr. Football

Bowling Green (Ky) wide receiver and Western Kentucky verbal commit Nacarius Fant claimed the top gridiron honors in the state of Kentucky, he was named Mr. Football for the 2013 season on Wednesday afternoon.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder put together a phenomenal senior campaign, hauling in 83 passes for 1,699 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading the Purples to their third straight state crown.
For his career, Fant finished with 227 catches (tied for 5th in state history), 4,473 receiving yards (3rd), and 52 touchdowns (tied for 4th). He owns every receiving record at Bowling Green.
With the award, Fant also found his name on the Associated Press Kentucky High School All-State first team.
