WKU lands three 2022 commitments Monday

Monday night was a good one for Western Kentucky as the Hilltoppers earned commitments from three Class of 2022 prospects.

Beginning with Dixie Heights (Ky.) offensive lineman Evan Wibberley, who announced his commitment on Twitter at 6:35 p.m., Beechwood (Ky.) offensive lineman Luke Slusher followed up with a 7:06 p.m. announcement, and Munroe (Fla.) wide receiver Wyatt Sullivan made it a three-commitment night by posting his pledge to Twitter at 7:14 p.m.

Wibberley, a 6-foot-4, 279-pound prospect, chose WKU over the likes of Marshall, Florida International, Middle Tennessee, Eastern Michigan, and others. He picked up an offer from the Hilltoppers back on March 10 and was on campus over the weekend for Hilltopper Hangout.

Slusher, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect, chose WKU over the likes of Marshall, Eastern Kentucky, Air Force, and others. He picked up an offer from the Hilltoppers back on March 10 and was on campus over the weekend for Hilltopper Hangout.

Sullivan, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound prospect, chose WKU over the likes of Charlotte, Troy, Akron, and others. He picked up an offer from the Hilltoppers back on June 10 and was on campus over the weekend for Hilltopper Hangout.

The commitments of Wibberley, Slusher and Sullivan give WKU five pledges as part of the 2022 recruiting class as the trio joins Thompson (Ala.) wide receiver Ryan Peppins and Australian punter Tom Ellard.
