I'm very excited to say that I have committed to Western Kentucky University to play football and continue my education! #GoTops!— Seth Joest (@sethjoest67) June 21, 2015
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers added their second offensive lineman to the 2016 class on Sunday morning as Woodford Co. (Ky.) product Seth Joest committed to WKU after receiving an offer from the coaching staff.
The 6-foot-3, 272-pound prospect has held Western Kentucky in high regards for quite a while.
"I am in love with the program. The coaching staff is amazing and from what I've seen WKU is the place I really want to play college football at," Joest told InsideHilltopperSports.com in April after a junior day visit.
Joest earned his offer after camping with the Hilltoppers on two separate occasions, at their prospect camp on June 6th and their satellite camp in Shelbyville, Kentucky on June 11th.
He brings versatility to the offensive line, having played center for Woodford County last season, he is expected to switch between both guard positions and play some tackle as well for his upcoming senior season.
Toledo, Eastern Kentucky, Wofford, Ball State, and Indiana State are other programs that were expressing interest in Joest, who becomes Western Kentucky's third in-state commitment.
