The late addition to the 2022 class spoke with InsideHilltopperSports.com about how it feels to be a Hilltopper and what ultimately led him to picking Western Kentucky.

"It feels great. I knew when I was down there that that’s where I needed to be. It’s just real genuine and I know I can develop into what I want to be. All the coaches are great and everything I need to be successful as a man, student and player is on The Hill."

The defensive weapon out of Mansfield, Ohio was offered by assistant coach and defensive line coach Kenny Baker on Monday, May 16 and said they had a great conversation and he liked how he emphasized the little things.

"I talked to Coach Baker and it went really really good. I loved his energy, their defensive schemes and how he emphasizes the small things."

Grose took an official visit to Western Kentucky a week later and said he had a great experience and that all the coaching staff stood out to him.

The 6-foot-0, 300-pound defensive tackle chose the Hilltoppers over notable offers from Kansas State, Arkansas State, Jackson State, and others.

Grose joins former Navy commit DeAnte McCray as the second prospect in the last two days to commit to Western Kentucky. He will have four years to play three.
