Marria commits to WKU
Fresh off his official visit to Western Kentucky over the weekend, Jonesboro (Ga.) defensive end Calder Marria announced his commitment on Twitter Sunday evening.
The 3-star prospect becomes the 14th overall commitment in the 2017 class. He joins Paul Taylor out of Tampa Tech (Fla.) and Carson Jordan, a mid-year JUCO signee out of Gulf Coast C.C. (Miss.), as defensive end pledges.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect chose the Hilltoppers over offers from Middle Tennessee, Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Mississippi State, UAB, and others.
