Has your size changed at all?
I grew an inch. I was 5-10, now I'm 5-11. My weight, when I signed, I was like 176, now I'm like 188.
What does your workout routine entail?
The coaches sent workout plans for the positions. When we get home, we start doing that workout or whatever. Then, we'll do our run. For each day, they have what they want you to do and we just follow the workout plan.
When do you plan on reporting to WKU?
I think orientation is on April 24 and the spring game is on the 24th, so I think that's when we'll be up there. We'll stay a couple days after graduation. It's June 6 and I think we're gonna come up there for summer sessions June 7.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
I'm trying to improve on, I've gotta wrap up when I hit. I've got good footwork and awareness and I'm used to hitting people and them falling. But it's college, so I know if I hit people and try to make them fall, they're gonna bounce right off of ya, so I've gotta work on wrapping up.
How would you describe your playing style?
When someone thinks, in games like, 'he's not gonna be able to make that catch,' or something like that, I'll do something crazy and find a way to catch the ball. I don't play laid-back, I play like I'm on a rampage. I'll be coming hard the whole game, even in the fourth quarter when people are getting tired. I'll still come hard and be ready to take off someone's head.
What are some of your goals as a freshman?
My first goal is to come up there and play as a freshman. My second goal is to not be afraid because I'm a freshman and not be able to play against the seniors because they've been in college and played more. My goal is to come up there and be a big part, a big help to the team. I just wanna be a part of the team and make a difference.
What's your favorite food?
Pepperoni pizza
What is your favorite movie?
Friday Night Lights
Who is your favorite musician?
Drake
What would be three words to describe you?
Brave, smart and talented.
If you could pick a fight with any celebrity, who would it be?
Gucci Man
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
My freshman year, in the first game of the season when I played varsity. I was starting at corner. The last play of the game, the other team had the ball and they were already up so I don't know why they threw the ball, on our goal line. They tried to do a fake run and pass. I picked it off and ran it back 99 yards and we won the game.
