Tops land another top in-state talent

MORE: In-state TE likes what WKU has to offer

The Hilltoppers landed another big in-state commitment on Monday night when Christian Academy of Louisville (Ky.) prospect Jake Paulson announced his decision via Twitter.

Paulson is a very athletic 6-foot-5, 245-pounds that the coaching staff envisions at either tight end or as a pass rushing specialist at the defensive end position at the college level.

The three-star rated prospect chose the Hilltoppers over offers from Pittsburgh, Purdue, Cincinnati, UCF, Florida Atlantic and others.

He becomes the 14th overall commitment for Western Kentucky in the 2017 class.
