Tops pick up two JUCO commits

Western Kentucky hosted three JUCO targets over the weekend, two of those ended up giving their verbal pledge to the Hilltoppers in Carson Jordan, a defensive end out of Gulf Coast (Miss.) Community College and Jaylon George, a defensive tackle out of Northeast Oklahoma A&M College.

Both are expected to sign with Western Kentucky on Wednesday and enroll for the upcoming spring semester, bringing experienced depth to the defensive front for the Hilltoppers heading into next season.

At 6-foot-3, 265-pounds, Jordan is a classic edge speed rusher that can create havoc in the backfield with his quickness off the line and utilizing his strength to push defenders back on their heels.

At 6-foot-3, 270-pounds, George is a more versatile defensive lineman that can either line up at end or tackle. Laterally, he moves very well for his size and really knows how to use his hands to get past defenders using powerful swim moves.
