BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP)- Juan Pattillo scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds to help Western Kentucky hold off Bowling Green 59-52 on Wednesday night.

The Hilltoppers (4-5) led 28-20 at halftime and built their lead to 39-22 on Pattillo's layup with 14:19 remaining.
The Falcons (1-7), however, cut it to 54-52 on Danny McElroy's layup with 2 minutes to play.
Bowling Green, which lost its seventh in a row, went 0-for-9 from the field the rest of the way. The Hilltoppers held on, snapping a four-game losing streak, despite going just 5 of 10 from the free throw line in the final 2 minutes.
Bowling Green shot 29.7 percent in the second half (11 of 37).
Steffphon Pettigrew added 13 points for Western Kentucky and Caden Dickerson had 11.
Jordon Crawford scored 15 points for Bowling Green and Dee Brown had 10. McElroy grabbed 11 rebounds for the Falcons.
