Wilson the newest Hilltopper

If you had to use one word to describe new Hilltopper commitment Dontravious Wilson, that word would be "physical".

A runningback/linebacker at one of the top high school programs in the country, Buford HS in Buford, Ga., Wilson picked WKU over Cincinnati, Mississippi State, Georgia Southern, and several others.
"I like all the coaches there (at WKU)," Wilson said. "They're real cool."
Wilson is the latest in a long string of athletes from Buford HS to commit to a FBS program.
In 2012, Buford HS had two athletes sign to play football at Alabama, two more sign to play at LSU, and several others signed with FBS programs.
The rising senior got the opportunity to tell Coach Taggart about his commitment over the phone when Wilson called him.
"He (Taggart) was really excited," Wilson said. "He said he's got big plans for me."

You don't have to watch Wilson's highlight tape for very long to see his physical play.
When taking snaps at runningback, Wilson runs over would-be tacklers like a bowling ball.
When he's on the other side of the ball at linebacker, he delivers punishing hits that leaves the opposing team reeling.
"I love playing physical," Wilson said. "On both sides of the ball."
The Buford, Ga., athlete is the No. 9 commitment in the Class of 2013 for the Hilltoppers.
As of today, WKU sits in the No. 3 spot in the Rivals Sun Belt team recruiting rankings, trailing leader Arkansas State and No. 2 ranked North Texas.
