BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP)- Jeff Van Camp threw three touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Florida Atlantic over Western Kentucky 29-23 on Saturday.
The loss extended Western Kentucky's losing streak to an NCAA-high 19 games. The Hilltoppers haven't won since Sept. 20, 2008, a 50-9 victory over Murray State.
Lester Jean caught two touchdown passes for Florida Atlantic (4-7, 4-3 Sun Belt Conference) and Jason Harmon caught another. Van Camp was 16-for-30 with 266 yards.
Kawaun Jakes, who was 19-of-28 for 146 yards, threw a touchdown pass to Jake Gaebler for Western Kentucky (0-11, 0-7). Derrius Brooks also threw a touchdown pass for the Hilltoppers, catching a backward pass from Jakes and finding Seth Tamme from 21 yards out to close to 16-14 in the second quarter.
Casey Tinius kicked three field goals for Western Kentucky, including a 47-yarder for the final margin.
