The Hilltoppers (3-5) limp into Indiana State (5-4) on Sunday in the midst of a four-game losing streak and hoping their current seven-game stretch away from Diddle Arena will finally tally a win.
This will be the seventh meeting between WKU and Indiana State, with the Hilltoppers leading the all-time series 4-2 and securing a 75-62 win over the Sycamores last season in Bowling Green.
Indiana State is an improved team that suffered two close losses to quality teams in Iowa State (73-71) and Stanford (65-62) earlier this season in the Advocare Invitational in Orlando and boast road wins over Utah State and 15th ranked Butler.
The Hilltoppers hope to add another key piece to their roster in Tennessee transfer Jabari McGhee, who should now be eligible with the fall semester being over. The 6-foot-7, 205-pound forward will be a much-needed boost to the Western Kentucky lineup.
