- How has the adjustment been going over the summer as a student athlete, summer, and through fall camp so far?

"A few days after my graduation I had to be down here. So, I had to adjust fast. I had class the following Monday and I just finished up class last week or two weeks ago. It's been fun, it's been fast. Camp has been going well so far. I've had to adjust to it. I've picked up 10-12 pounds since I got here, so it's been good."

- What's the biggest difference between high school and college camps?

"The intensity is different. It's more players and I work hard, but I don't have to work as hard as I did last year because I was playing both sides of the ball. Now, I just focus on defense primarily. You have to wake up early and it's all about focus, mental reps, mentality, and learning the playbook. It's way different. It's way more plays than I had in high school."

- What have you learned from your position coach so far?

"My position coach is the defensive coordinator, so I learn about every position on defense even if it's more stuff than I need to know. He helps me out. He's taught me new techniques. I learned the glide, the motor, fade step. It's all new and it's just helping develop my game."

- How have the upperclassmen helped you along so far since you've been here?

"They tell me just to stay in my book. Me and Dre Farris, we stayed after summer workouts and work technique. He helped me with my fade step and all that kind of stuff."

- Go back to your recruiting process and when Western Kentucky got involved, what sold you on the Hilltoppers?

"My cousin had went here and he just recently graduated, Joe Brown. I attended a lot of games and I knew this would be one the schools I would want to go too."

- Western Kentucky fans that haven't seen you play yet, what do you bring to the table?

"I bring intensity and I got dog - I'm a fighter. I work hard and play hard and I give it my all."
