Galen Smith III becomes third hoops commitment
Western Kentucky received their third verbal commitment on Sunday when Bay (Miss.) power forward Galen Smith III announced his decision on Twitter.
Smith was on his official visit this weekend at WKU, where he took in Saturday morning's scrimmage.
The 6-foot-9, 210-pound prospect chose the Hilltoppers over offers from Southern Miss, New Orleans, Jacksonville State, Cal State Northridge, Jackson State, UIC, and Northern Alabama.
Smith joins guard Jeremiah Gambrell out of Madison (Tex.) and power forward Matthew Horton out of Shelton State C.C. (Ala.)
