Kevin Peoples Resigns as WKU Defensive Line Coach

After roughly a month on the job, WKU assistant coach Kevin Peoples has resigned, effective immediately.
Reports began surfacing late in the week that Peoples had been offered the defensive line position at UAB. It appears he has accepted that role with the Blazers.
Peoples served as the defensive ends coach/recruiting coordinator in his brief time with the Hilltoppers.
While the decision comes as a surprise, it will be interesting to see how the recruiting dynamic shakes out as national signing day draws near, given Peoples was the recruiting coordinator.
We'll see what head coach Bobby Petrino has up his sleeve in terms of a recruiting gameplan and hiring a possible replacement.
