Greenwood High School standout guard Noah Stansbury and son of Western Kentucky head men’s basketball coach Rick Stansbury has graduated high school early, reclassified from the Class of 2021 into the 2020 class and joined the Hilltoppers’ program as a walk-on.

Jared MacDonald of the Bowling Green Daily News first reported the news, and WKU soon confirmed with InsideHilltopperSports.com.

Stansbury averaged 12.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game as a junior for the Gators last season. He shot 44.1% from the field and 37.7% from beyond the arc while Greenwood went 17-14 and lost to Bowling Green in the District 14 Tournament semifinals.

Stansbury has been added to WKU’s online roster. You can view his profile HERE.

Stansbury's oldest son, Isaac, is a sophomore walk-on at Mississippi State.
