The Hilltoppers offensive line just keeps getting beefier after picking up a big commitment from three-star offensive lineman Donald Rocker on Tuesday. The Sandalwood (Jacksonville, Fla.) prospect was a recent official visitor to Western Kentucky back on the weekend of January 18th.
Rocker had originally committed to Florida International way back in April of last year, but, de-committed from the Golden Panthers on January 8th and re-opened his recruitment process.
His primary recruiter has been WKU offensive line coach Mike Summers, who already had interest in the 6-foot-5, 305-pound Rocker during his previous stint on the Kentucky coaching staff. Having played both, guard and tackle along the O-line during his prep days with the Saints, Rocker is being recruited to play tackle for the Tops.
He holds offers from Arizona, Troy, Middle Tennessee State, Memphis, and Marshall.
Rocker becomes the sixth offensive lineman to make his verbal pledge to Western Kentucky for the 2013 recruiting class, joining:
