Has your size changed at all?
I'm actually down to 336 now. I'm just eating less.
What does your workout routine entail?
A lot of conditioning. I try to get some heavy weight on the bar. I've been doing a lot of drills, lateral movement drills to move on the field. Then, just sprints, running a couple of miles every other day.
When do you plan on reporting to WKU?
The first week of June, if I understand right from the coaches.
What do you plan on working or improving on through this summer?
The biggest thing is my speed. I wanna drop down to 320-325 and I wanna be running a 5.4 laser time by the time I get out there.
How would you describe your playing style?
I try to play smart, know what's gonna happen. It's hard to play smart and not hard because I'm gonna play smart and hard. If you don't know what you're doing it doesn't matter how hard you play, you're gonna be out of position. I try to gameplan and I like to know what the guy I'm going against does, the moves he likes to use. I try to be an intelligent player.
What are some of your goals for your first season at WKU?
First, I wanna coem in and start. If I get that starting spot, I wanna make all-conference, because I'm not gonna shoot low. I've always been taught to shoot high and if you miss, you still made it pretty far.
What's your favorite food?
Pizza
What is your favorite movie?
Ooh, that'd be anything with Will Ferrell.
Who is your favorite musician?
Jack Johnson
What would be three words to describe you?
Big, friendly and outgoing
If you could date any celebrity, who would it be?
I'm gonna have to go with Meagan Fox
If you could pick a fight with any celebrity, who would it be?
That's a hard one. I never thought about fighting celebrities. Have you seen that show Two and A Half Men? Not Charlie Sheen, but the other guy (Jon Cryer).
What's been your most memorable experience playing football?
That's hard. I guess my senior year (of high school), we hadn't won a sectional playoff game since like 2000. My senior year, we got our first win. It was a milestone for the football program because it was our second year with our new coach. The year before we lost pretty bad in the first round.
