Western Kentucky landed their second in-state commitment on Thursday when Doss (Ky.) wide receiver Terez Traynor announced his pledge to the Hilltopppers.

The 6-foot-3, 173-pound prospect becomes the 17th overall commitment for WKU and chose the Hilltoppers over the likes of Purdue, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Miami (Oh.), Eastern Michigan, and others.

Traynor's main recruiting contact on the staff has been wide receivers coach Junior Adams.

Here is what the Louisville product told InsideHilltopperSports.com about his relationship with Adams back when he received his offer in February.

"Junior is my guy. He's a straight up guy and as we were talking I felt like I knew him. He said he likes how fast I am with my height and how I get the ball at the highest point."
