Two-Star Defensive Back Commits to WKU
Fresh off signing four JUCO players the previous day, the Hilltoppers kept on rolling by receiving a verbal commitment from Vestavia Hills (AL) defensive back Marcus Ward.

Ward is a two-star prospect who possesses the proper size (6-foot-3, 200 pounds) to get in the grill of opposing receivers and victoriously engage in press coverage.
Ward joins Joe Occhipinti, Connor Popeck, Dishan Romine, LaBront Scotta, Johnny Delaney, Kyle Jones, Marcus Adams, Ismael Aurismond, Devante Duclos, Jalen Edwards, Juwan Gardner, Chris Huhn, Justin Martinez, Isaac Tanner, Dontravious Wilson and junior college signees Maurice Bennett, Connor Popeck, Dalton Patterson and Lonnie Turner as part of the 2013 signing class.
Ward also held offers from Air Force, Louisiana-Lafayette, South Alabama, Memphis, and UAB.
