2024 QB Tucker Parks details commitment to WKU

The Hilltoppers added some major offensive firepower to next year's roster last month, landing a commitment from Tucker Parks, a two-star quarterback out of Klein Collins (Tex.) in the class of 2024.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound quarterback from Houston, TX. sat down with InsideHilltopperSports.com to go in-depth on his ultimate decision.

"It feels fantastic, like I'm part of a new family. And I think some factors that led to my commitment were the people and how they act. Another reason is the facilities and place. It gives me a home-like feeling and a place to better myself in the future."

During his recruitment process with the Hilltoppers, Parks said that he connected with WKU assistant coach, co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Drew Hollingshead and offensive quality control coach Caedon Malone.

He added that Western Kentucky's coaching staff has been involved in his recruitment process for the last two to three months.

Parks said that he hasn't stopped by Western Kentucky for an official visit yet but plans on doing that in the future. He added that the big hill in the middle of campus really stands out to him.

Parks additionally said that the culture of WKU's program is very exciting because of the circumstances the program offers that allows for him to compete and perform.

"I haven't been on an OV yet but I plan to. And the thing that stood out the most was the huge hill in the middle of campus. The culture is very exciting because I know I can compete and perform in the circumstances they offer."

Parks said that he has been to Western Kentucky for a camp and was a huge fan of the people and the facilities.

Western Kentucky wasn't the only school involved Park's recruitment process as he also held opportunities from Austin Peay, Columbia, Mercer and Utah State.
