With the Dragons last year, Unseld collected 16.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, becoming one of two underclassmen named to both the Courier-Journal and Lexington Herald Leader First Team All-State teams.

Unseld was also named to the KHSAA Sweet 16 All-Tournament team after earning 18.3 points per game, including a 17-point contest in the state championship.

The in-state star has also made his presence known on the highest levels of grassroots basketball, contributing to Mokan Elite on the EYBL circuit. In the Peach Jam tournament, Unseld recorded 47% shooting from beyond the arc.

Over the summer, Unseld represented the state of Kentucky in the Kentucky-Indiana Junior All-Star game, impressing with 15 points and eight rebounds in the victory over the Hoosier State.

"Watching Kade play, it is evident that he has been coached at a high-level, and that will help him transition to the collegiate level. He is a perfect fit for our style of play and culture here at WKU."

Unseld is the first player from the class of 2024 that has signed with Coach Lutz and the Hilltoppers this season.
