Western Kentucky Basketball Transfer Portal Big Board
The Transfer Portal officially become open for business recently and similar to the football side, the basketball has been a mad house as players from all across the country officially were allowed to enter their names into the portal and begin their recruitments all over again.
Now with that being said, Western Kentucky and new head coach Steve Lutz is starting to show some interest in kids and InsideHilltopperSports.com are here tracking every prospect that the Hilltoppers are showing interest in.

NOTES: Tennyson originally committed to Central Connecticut State out of high school, then spent a year at Ranger (Tex.) College before find his way to Texas A&M Corpus-Christi the last two seasons, where he has helped lead the Islanders to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. Tennyson visited WKU on March 28th and 29th.

In addition to the interest he's garnered from Western Kentucky, Smith has also intrigued Furman, Samford, Chattanooga, Wofford, South Alabama, Appalachian State, Radford, UNCW, Tennessee Tech, Liberty, Fairleigh Dickinson, Loyola Chicago, Iona, Lipscomb, William & Mary, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Charleston Southern, Grand Canyon, Jacksonville State, Southern Indiana, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and The Citadel.

NOTES: The former three-star center out of Huntington Prep in West Virginia, averaged 13 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks per game in his senior campaign. Muordar also received significant offers from LSU and Oregon State. With South Florida, Muordar competed in 19 contests, making one start as a true freshman. In addition to the interest he's garnered from Western Kentucky, Muordar has also heard from Wichita State, Temple, S.C. State, Jacksonville and IUPUI.

HOMETOWN: Chicago, Illinois
2022-23 STATS: 15.1 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 1.0 apg
NOTES: The former three-star shooting forward out of Bloom Township High School, put up 15 points, 10 rebounds and seven blocked shots during his senior season, earning recognition as an all-state and all-conference athlete. After one year at Tulsa, Shumate decided to transfer to McNeese State and has played for the Cowboys for two seasons, earning 2021-22 All-Southland Conference Third-Team and 2022-23 Preseason First-Team All-SLC. In addition to interest from Western Kentucky, Shumate has also heard from Arizona State, Illinois, San Diego State, Milwaukee, Bradley, DePaul, Green Bay, Kent State, Toledo, Murray State and Fresno.
