WKU Adds Wing Player

Following the official start to the basketball season with Hilltopper Hysteria, WKU struck gold with its highest rated recruit ever. Via Ustream, four-star point guard Cezar Guerrero gave his commitment to WKU.
Literally moments later, the Toppers had picked up another verbal commitment. A surprise late visitor for the weekend, Wheeler (Ga.) three-star forward Nigel Snipes also pledged his commitment.
A multi-dimensional wing, Snipes was just recently a target of assistant coach Allen Edwards. Snipes chose the Toppers over an offer list that included West Virginia, Arkansas-Little Rock and Delaware.
Snipes is the fourth commit this week for WKU, joining Guerrero, Warren Central (Ky.) three-star forward George Fant and Veritas Sports Academy (NC) three-star center Deng Leek. Rivals150 guard Derrick Gordon has been committed since last summer and was also an official visitor this weekend.
