The bow has been placed on WKU's 2011 class.
In what has been a whirlwind of a week for the Toppers, the upcoming recruiting class has now been completed. George Rogers Clark (Ky.) three-star power forward Vinny Zollo gave his verbal commitment to WKU this morning.
Zollo chose the Toppers over his other finalist, DePaul, after visiting WKU this weekend for Hilltopper Hysteria.
A long, rangy forward, Zollo becomes the sixth commitment for WKU.
He's also the fifth three-star commitment, joining Derrick Gordon, George Fant, Deng Leek and Nigel Snipes. The crown jewel of the class, Cezar Guerrero, committed on Friday.
Zollo at one time was a verbal commitment under former Kentucky coach Billy Gillespie. Zollo moved from his native Ohio to George Rogers Clark, in Winchester, to be closer to the Wildcats program. He decommitted upon Gillespie's firing in the spring of last year.
