WKU center Jamarion Sharp enters the transfer portal
Western Kentucky center Jamarion Sharp officially entered his name in the transfer portal on Tuesday after averaging 7.6 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.1 blocks per game this past season for the Hilltoppers.
This isn't Sharp's first flirtation with the transfer portal, he previously entered his name in the portal in late April of last year before withdrawing and returning to Western Kentucky.

Prior to college, Sharp played for Hopkinsville High School, where as a senior, he averaged 7.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Sharp earned several accolades including a spot on the All-Eighth District Team as well as the Kentucky All-Stars.
Sharp played for John A. Logan College for his first two seasons of college, dominating the JUCO circuit as a sophomore as he averaged 7.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.8 blocks per game.
During the 2021-22 season, Sharp made a big splash for Western Kentucky by quickly landing himself a spot in the starting lineup while averaging 8.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.6 blocks per game.
Sharp has been Conference USA's defensive player of the year the last two seasons at WKU.
He becomes the third Hilltopper to enter the transfer portal since the offseason, joining guard Jordan Rawls and Dayvion McKnight.
Former Texas A&M Corpus-Christi head coach Steve Lutz was officially named the head man at Western Kentucky on March 18th, replacing Rick Stansbury who stepped away after seven seasons.
